Mrs. Marilyn C. McMillan is a member of Today’s Family Ministries, located in Harford Country Maryland.  
Mrs. McMillan co-partners with her husband in this Evangelistic Family Life Ministry which was founded by her
husband, the Rev. Dr. Larry A. McMillan, Sr. Today’s Family Inc.  Mrs. McMillan is in demand as a speaker at
ladies’ functions in churches in various cities and counties.  The Lord has used her to help in ladies’ ministry and
for 15 years, she has ministered to the Homeless and the Battered Women’s Shelters of Baltimore, Maryland.
 

Mrs. McMillan is a communicator.  Audiences will find her warm stage presence and her unassuming manner very
refreshing.  She has the rare ability to combine sincerity with excellence of presentation both in speaking and in
singing.  Her delightful combination of music with many styles of songs appeals to listeners of every age.

Marilyn C. McMillan’s educational development consists of studies at Catonsville Community College, Coppin
State College and College of Notre Dame, Baltimore, Maryland in a dual degree study of Computer Information
Systems and Human Services Administration.  She has been employed with the Department of Health and Human
Services, Centers for Medicaid and State Operations for over 29 years.  Presently, she is a Computer Specialist
in the Division of Information Analysis and Technical Assistance in Woodlawn, Maryland.

This woman of God has helped to lead her family in a deeper commitment to family living.  She has received
citations from the Mayor of Baltimore City, Governor of Maryland, Sitting Judges of Baltimore, and was cited by
Donna Shalala, Secretary of the Health and Human Services Administration for her efforts in feeding, clothing, and
funding for the homeless and granting wishes to impoverished children.  You will find her working with her
husband and Today’s Family, Inc. donating funds, clothing, and food to assist the on-going work with many
churches, working in soup kitchens, lecturing wayward families, conducting family life workshops, community
outreach programs, and pairing themselves with needy families.  

Presently many of her projects include the reformation of Today’s Family Newsletter, a cookbook, and a live
video of her seminar teachings.  “To God be the glory, for the great things He has done.”

The decision by Harford County Public Schools officials to
not allow its students to see the live broadcast of President
Barack Obama’s speech Tuesday to schools nationwide raised
the hackles of some parents, but certainly not all, and, not
unexpectedly, divided the views of some Harford County
elected officials along party lines.
